Doongalik Studios was formed in the 1970's by Jackson Burnside, architect, artist and cultural advocate and his wife, Pam. The couple have spent their lifetime together committed to promoting the country's outstanding artistic talent which they firmly believe can establish The Bahamas as an international center of creativity.
Doongalik Studios Art Gallery has one location in Nassau - #18 Village Road which is home to a large Exhibition Gallery in an historically traditional building nestled amongst a lush garden.
Doongalik's mission is to ensure that by the year 2020, the majority of visitors to The Bahamas will come to experience its Art, Culture and Heritage rather than its Sun, Sand and Sea.
